insectlove: markhortonphotography: V is Vespula vulgaris….. on Flickr. This poor little common wasp had spent the night in the mothtrap. It appears to have picked up a fair bit of detritus while it was in there!! Spent a couple of minutes cleaning itself off while warming up in the early morning sun, before taking off.
